LEAD ICT SCHOOL
Our LEAD IT School Project anchors on tablet inking and reflective pedagogy. The IT, English and Mother Tongue departments work hand-in-hand on an action research on improving our learners in their writing capablity integrated with reflection activities. The IP departments integrate process writing, reflection structures with tablet inking in the writing of essays for English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil language.
In the first half of 2006, we use the existing tablet inking applications like windows journal to familarise with tablet inking and the use of tablet PCs. In the later part of 2006, we switch to using Marker's Journal.
In 2007, we continue our journey with "Fun with Mindbook" in our action research on process writing integrated with reflective learning activities. In our action research, we hope to investigate if our process writing and reflective structures integrated with tablet inking would enhance learners' writing capabilities over a period of time.
